Effectivement, le dessein de la commune n&rsquo;a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s clair d&#8217;embl\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Ce qui aurait amen\u00e9 la population \u00e0 croire que la commune aurait eu pour ambition de supprimer tour bonnement cette bulle \u00e9conomique et sociale pour les schaerbeekois.<\/p>\n<p>Pour rappel, <em>\u00ab\u00a0Dans le cadre du futur r\u00e9am\u00e9nagement de la rue Royale Sainte Marie op\u00e9r\u00e9 par Beliris, la Commune de Schaerbeek avait \u00e9t\u00e9 contrainte d\u2019annoncer la suppression du march\u00e9 Royale Sainte Marie en novembre dernier.\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> a annonc\u00e9 le site web de la commune de Schaerbeek dans un communiqu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019Echevine Lorraine de Fierlant (Liste du Bourgmestre), s\u2019\u00e9tait d\u00e8s lors engag\u00e9e \u00e0 analyser une alternative avant l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 2020. Le Coll\u00e8ge des Bourgmestre et Echevins a approuv\u00e9 ce mardi 23 juin 2020 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un nouveau march\u00e9 aux abords de l\u2019Eglise Saint-Servais (enti\u00e8rement r\u00e9nov\u00e9e) et sur la Place Lehon.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dans son argumentaire, l&rsquo;\u00e9chevine de 1030 pr\u00e9cise que <em>\u00ab Nous n\u2019avions aucune solution satisfaisante pour d\u00e9localiser le march\u00e9 en l\u2019\u00e9tat (900 m\u00e8tres de long) car les contraintes <\/em><em>de mobilit\u00e9 et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9taient nombreuses \u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est ainsi que le Coll\u00e8ge des Bourgmestre et Echevins a approuv\u00e9 ce mardi 23 juin 2020 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un nouveau march\u00e9 aux abords de l\u2019Eglise Saint-Servais (enti\u00e8rement r\u00e9nov\u00e9e) et sur la Place Lehon d\u00e8s 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e9cisons tout de m\u00eame qu&rsquo;une p\u00e9tition lanc\u00e9e par les marchands a r\u00e9colt\u00e9 plus de 5000 signatures en tr\u00e8s peu de temps dans le but de pr\u00e9server ce patrimoine schaerbeekois. Cet \u00e9lement a, sans aucun doute, fait pencher la balance en faveur du maintien du march\u00e9 hebdomadaire.<\/p>\n<p>Dans la r\u00e9plique du PTB, Axel Bernard, le chef de groupe reste tout de m\u00eame attentif.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Nous nous battons depuis maintenant 9 mois pour qu\u2019on garantisse le maintien du march\u00e9 pendant et apr\u00e8s les travaux.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Le march\u00e9 du vendredi existe depuis plus de 35 ans, il n\u2019est pas seulement le gagne-pain de nombreux marchands qui ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 durement touch\u00e9s par la crise du coronavirus, il est aussi un lieu populaire o\u00f9 tout Schaerbeek se rencontre et o\u00f9 on peut encore faire ses courses \u00e0 moindre prix.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Sa suppression risquait de pousser un grand nombre de personnes dans la pr\u00e9carit\u00e9.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Pour ne rien vous cacher, le silence de la majorit\u00e9, trop long, \u00e9tait terriblement suspect\u00a0\u00bb <\/em>annonce l&rsquo;\u00e9dile d&rsquo;une opposition forte.<\/p>\n<p>Toujours scrupuleux dans ces points d&rsquo;attention, Axel Bernard rappelle : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Ce n\u2019est pas faute de vous avoir interpell\u00e9, je pense que le PTB l\u2019a fait tous les mois.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>On en venait \u00e0 penser que vous vouliez supprimer purement et simplement le march\u00e9 le plus grand et le plus populaire de Schaerbeek car il ne correspondait pas au standing que vous voulez privil\u00e9gier dans la commune. Assistait-on \u00e0 un eni\u00e8me projet de gentrification de la majorit\u00e9 D\u00e9fi-Ecolo, qui ne se cache pas de vouloir changer la population de Schaerbeek pour attirer les gros revenus ?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Aussi, rappelons que rien n&rsquo;est encore pr\u00e9vu pour la situation post-travaux.<\/p>\n<p>Le PTB appr\u00e9cie quand m\u00eame cette nouvelle de bon augure.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00a0Donc, nous avons accueilli avec beaucoup de satisfaction la d\u00e9cision que vous avez \u00e9voqu\u00e9e \u00e0 demi-mot en Commission.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Axel Bernard mitige quand m\u00eame sa satisfaction par : <em>\u00ab\u00a0Je vous livre le retour des commer\u00e7ants : ils sont \u00e9videmment tout aussi heureux que nous de voir le march\u00e9 maintenu dans le quartier Collignon. Mais ils posent la question : pourquoi pas pour tous les marchands ?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Je pense qu\u2019ils ont raison. Il suffit de faire un petit effort aux alentours de la place Lehon pour avoir place pour les 91 abonn\u00e9s.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ils nous r\u00e9p\u00e8tent que les marchands sont pr\u00eats \u00e0 r\u00e9duire leurs m\u00e9trages pour que tout le monde puisse travailler.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ils ont consenti des efforts financiers importants pour acheter des places au march\u00e9.
