Ce dimanche 4 mai, le stade communal de Schaerbeek a vibr\u00e9 comme rarement. D\u00e9j\u00e0 sacr\u00e9s champions une semaine plus t\u00f4t \u00e0 La Calamine, les joueurs du Crossing ont retrouv\u00e9 leur public pour une ultime rencontre \u00e0 domicile \u2013 l\u2019occasion r\u00eav\u00e9e de f\u00eater en grande pompe leur accession \u00e0 la Division 1 Amateur.<\/p>\n

Une victoire pour parachever la f\u00eate<\/p>\n

Devant des tribunes pleines et enthousiastes, le Crossing s\u2019est impos\u00e9 2-0 face \u00e0 Raeren-Eynatten. Les buts sont venus en seconde p\u00e9riode, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une reprise de Ben Yagan (70e) sur un centre pr\u00e9cis de Johan Ella Ella, suivie d\u2019un joli but de Tao Mampuya (78e) apr\u00e8s une feinte astucieuse de Casagolda. Une mani\u00e8re \u00e9l\u00e9gante de boucler une saison exceptionnelle.<\/p>\n

Une ambiance de c\u00e9l\u00e9bration, entre \u00e9motion et reconnaissance<\/p>\n

Les dirigeants du club n\u2019ont rien laiss\u00e9 au hasard pour cette journ\u00e9e historique : anciennes gloires, jeunes espoirs du club et de nombreuses personnalit\u00e9s locales \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sentes pour rendre hommage au parcours remarquable du Crossing.<\/p>\n

Parmi les invit\u00e9s de marque figuraient Hasan Koyuncu, bourgmestre de Schaerbeek, Abobakre Bouhjar, \u00e9chevin des Sports de la commune, ainsi que Justine Harz\u00e9 et Quentin Van den Hove. Le d\u00e9put\u00e9 bruxellois Yusuf Yildiz \u00e9tait \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sent. Le groupe PS t\u00e9moignant de l\u2019importance que rev\u00eat ce club pour le tissu social local. Les Jeunes Socialistes de Schaerbeek, nombreux et visibles, ont eux aussi particip\u00e9 activement \u00e0 l\u2019ambiance festive, brandissant \u00e9charpes et drapeaux aux couleurs du club.<\/p>\n

L\u2019un des temps forts de l\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi fut l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de Gribouille, l\u2019\u00e2ne mascotte de Schaerbeek, portant fi\u00e8rement la coupe sur son dos. Un clin d\u2019\u0153il plein de tendresse \u00e0 l\u2019identit\u00e9 locale, accueilli par une salve d\u2019applaudissements et de sourires.<\/p>\n

Pascal Withofs et Erdal Sevik \u00e0 l\u2019honneur<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9motion a atteint son comble lorsqu\u2019un hommage a \u00e9t\u00e9 rendu \u00e0 Pascal Withofs, figure du club depuis plus de 50 ans, pour qui ce match marquait la fin d\u2019un engagement de toute une vie. \u00ab Une v\u00e9ritable l\u00e9gende \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 l\u2019entra\u00eeneur Dave De Herdt, en saluant sa fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 exceptionnelle.<\/p>\n

Enfin, le pr\u00e9sident Erdal Sevik a \u00e9t\u00e9 ovationn\u00e9 par le stade pour son r\u00f4le central dans la renaissance du club. \u00ab Cette victoire vient parfaire la f\u00eate. Merci \u00e0 tous ceux qui ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 cette journ\u00e9e inoubliable \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9 avec \u00e9motion.<\/p>\n
